भारत में कई सदियों पहले एक किताब- (#मेरुतुंगाचार्य_रचित_प्रबन्ध_चिन्तामणि) आई थी जिसमें महान लोगों के बारे में कई हस्तलिखित कहानियाँ थी। कोई कहता है किताब १३१० के दशक में आई तो कोई उसे १३६० के दशक का मानता है, १३१० वाले ज़्यादा लोग हैं। खैर मुद्दा वो नहीं है, किताब का १४ वीं सदी का होना ही काफी है। उसमें राजा भोज पर भी कई कहानिया है जिसमें से एक ये है, जिसे थोड़ा ध्यान से पढ़ा जाना चाहिए    -  एक रात अचानक आँख खुल जाने से राजा भोज ने देखा कि चाँदनी के छिटकने से बड़ा ही सुहावना समय हो रहा है, और सामने ही आकाश में स्थित चन्द्रमा देखने वाले के मन मे आल्हाद उत्पन्न कर रहा है। यह देख राजा की आँखें उस तरफ अटक गई और थोड़ी देर में उन्होने यह श्लोकार्ध पढ़ा - यदेतइन्द्रान्तर्जलदलवलीलां प्रकुरुते। तदाचष्टे लेाकः शशक इति नो सां प्रति यथा॥  अर्थात् - "चाँद के भीतर जो यह बादल का टुकड़ा सा दिखाई देता है लोग उसे शशक (खरगोश) कहते हैं। परन्तु मैं ऐसा नहीं समझता।" संयोग से इसके पहले ही एक विद्वान् चोर राज महल मे घुस आया था और राजा के जाग जाने के कारण एक तरफ छिपा बैठा था।...
